ChatGTP, MS Co-pilot and other tools pride themselves in their ability to summarise information. Use it for Feedback and Co-creation!

AI tools can be very helpful when it comes to giving feedback for learning to large cohorts and when it comes to co-creating lecture content with students.

To co- create, instruct students to read around the subject, research it or discuss a problem based learning task and then ask them using polling software what area of the subject they want addressing in your lecture. You can then have the AI tool summarise the responses in an instant and then structure your lecture around this summary- making it move relevant to the majority of students. In the same way you can invite students even in large cohorts to post questions about a lecture you have already delivered and then have their questions summarised and give summary feedback for learning that addresses the issues of mist students even in large cohorts.
